Step 1: Remove all traces of food and grease with kitchen paper

The ideal to take the first step is to start as soon as you stop using it and it still maintains heat. Obviously unplug it to avoid accidents. If there is any leftover melted cheese and it doesn’t come off with paper, then use a damp cloth before it dries and gets hard.

If the dirt is all over the appliance, put a piece of paper towel inside and close it. After a few seconds, you take it out. With this action you will remove what is burned and remains of fat.

The main thing is not to let the food stick to the plates. But if this has already happened, help yourself with a plastic spatula to remove them.

Step 2: Soap and a soft sponge

To remove the remains, just use a little detergent (the one you use for the dishes is fine) in the toaster. Then wet the sponge and squeeze it so that it is half dry. Then with the softest face of the sponge cleans the grease. Give yourself a hand with the soap so that it is completely clean.

Step 3: Wipe the interior and exterior with a damp cloth

The last step is the following. Use a soft, damp cloth and wipe it on the outside and inside to remove all traces of soap, if any. Pay close attention to the handle.

Finally, leave it open until it dries completely and then store it. Following these steps will prevent your appliances from having a bad smell

· Do not use metal or sharp objects such as metal spatulas. could you scratch it and spoil the adhesion of the sandwich maker.

· If despite everything you have done, you still see that the remains of food are very adhered to the grooves, you can use a brush with separate bristles (special plate cleaning) to remove dirt.

· Prevents the accumulation of waste. Therefore, after each use, pass a clean rag or cloth and remove any residue that may remain.
