Coronavirus in Mexico as of August 17: 9,898 infections and 73 deaths were registered

The most affected age group in the last five weeks are the people from 18 to 39 years old.

Refering to hospital availabilitythe average occupation of general beds in health centers throughout the country is 8%while of 3% for beds of intensive therapy.

According to the SARI Networkthe states with the highest percentage in general bed occupancy they are Aguascalientes (45.71%), Querétaro (32.81%) and Colima (30.23 percent). The Ministry of Health also reminds that, in case of presenting symptoms of COVID-19the person must self-isolate for at least seven days and be aware of the evolution of the disease.
