For the murder of a former director of La Salle University at the beginning of August, the victim’s wife and her extramarital partner were linked to the process for the crime of aggravated homicide.

On August 10, members of the CDMX Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC) achieved the capture of those presumed responsible for the murder of Enrique Ramírez, after the vehicle in which they would have fled after committing the crime was identified.
It was through the analysis and review of the video surveillance cameras that the car was tracked in neighborhoods of the Miguel Hidalgo mayor’s office, in the municipality of Naucalpan in the State of Mexico and in a building of the Tlalpan mayor’s office, where he was detained.
In this regard, the head of the SSC, Omar García Harfuch, reported that the capture of Areli “N” and Óscar “N” was through compliance with two search and arrest warrants for the crime of qualified homicide.

Also, local media indicated that his wife had started the search work when the capital authorities identified the body. It was thus that an investigation folder was opened for the crime of homicide.
According to reporter Carlos Jiménez, Enrique would have been murdered so that those now accused could supposedly charge a life insurance with a value of 3 million pesos, as well as a life pension of 80 thousand pesos per month.
According to preliminary reports, Óscar “N” was the one who allegedly activated the firearm that took the life of the former director of La Salle University. After linking him to the process, a term of four months to carry out the complementary investigations.
