SEATTLE (AP) — Nicolás Lodeiro scored the only goal of the game and the Seattle Sounders beat Dallas 1-0 on Tuesday to move into the MLS playoff zone.
The Uruguayan’s goal came from a penalty in the 39th minute. Seattle reached 32 points, which is sixth in the Western Conference.
Dallas stayed at 35 units, which allows him to be fourth in the same conference.
Both teams have activity on Saturday. The Sounders visit Atlanta United while Dallas will play at the home of the Portland Timbers.
In another game, Yaya Touré scored a key goal in the Colorado Rapids’ 5-4 victory over the New York Red Bulls.
Touré’s goal came in the 89th minute to put Colorado ahead 5-3.
Chile’s Diego Rubio, Keegan Rosenberry and Collen Warner each scored for Colorado before Michael Barrios scored in the 80th to give the Rapids their first lead of the game, 4-3.
