Portraits of Prime minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had been present in rubbish collected on the Kosi Kalan energy plant, officers mentioned on Sunday.
The portraits of the 2 leaders had been disposed off in ‘kabad’ by some workers of the facility plant whereas the workplace was being cleaned, they mentioned.
Just a few days in the past, a sanitation employee was terminated after pictures of Modi and Adityanath had been present in his rubbish cart. He was reinstated after a lot hue and cry on social media.
Executive engineer within the energy division Prabhakar Pandey confirmed the restoration of portraits from the rubbish.

The authorities had requested Pandey to submit a report after the BJP’s Yuva Morcha gave a criticism on this regard to the chief minister and Energy Minister A Okay Sharma.
“During inspection of the power plant on Saturday, the complaint was found to be true. On inquiry, it was found that the sub-divisional engineer and a junior engineer posted there had kept those portraits in junk after getting the office cleaned. The portraits are wiped and hung on the wall again,” Pandey mentioned.
A report has been despatched to the federal government, he added.
Energy minister Sharma will go to Mathura on Monday and the staff involved are prone to face motion, the officers mentioned.
