Kevin McGowan, a former bricklayer from County Antrim in Northern Ireland, was recognized with a uncommon neurological dysfunction in 2012 that left him largely bed-bound.
BBC News NI’s cameras have been there to seize the second he and his household have been proven the tip results of a disability-accessible addition to their home.
The development was for free of charge to the household and was organised by the charity Band of Builders.
