PTI, PML-Q To Move SC In Opposition To Dost Mazari’s Ruling


LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has determined to move Supreme Court (SC) in opposition to Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari’s ruling within the chief minister (CM) election, ARY News reported.

Soon after the contentious ruling was introduced, a joint parliamentary assembly of PML-Q and PTI was held, whereby it was determined to file a writ petition in opposition to the Dost Mazari’s choice within the Supreme Court (SC).

Meanwhile, former planning minister and PTI chief Asad Umar tweeted that the celebration would approach the Supreme Court tonight.

The choice got here after Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Hamza Shehbaz was re-elected because the chief minister (CM) of Punjab as Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari rejected the PML-Q’s votes in mild of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s letter.

Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Dost Mohammad Mazari – who chaired the session – dominated that the votes of PML-Q lawmakers won’t be counted within the election of Punjab chief minister within the mild of celebration head Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s letter.

Pervaiz Elahi – joint candidate of PTI and PML-Q – obtained 186 votes, whereas Hamza Shehbaz obtained 179 votes. However. 10 votes of PML-Q have been cancelled by Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari, therefore taking the determine to 176.
